Aaron Wilson, current North Island title holder went one step better at the Nationals over Easter to take the National Cadet title.

Aaron fought hard the entire race to lead from start to finish; the pressure must’ve been huge!! It was certainly nail biting stuff for the spectators.

Ryan Grant, in the KZ2 class, made a rare error and stalled at the start of the final. He then proceeded to demonstrate why he has so many National and Island titles in his CV driving from the back of the field up to 3 rd place. In the process he broke the Manawatu tracks lap record multiple times.

Other podium finishes for our Auckland representatives went to Leyton Kendall, 5 th in Yamaha Heavy, Kane Taylor, 5 th in Rotax Light, Graeme Smyth, 4 th in KZ2 and Michael Wheaton 5 th in KZ2.
