Getting a Kart

To race you are going to need a Kart.

If you are buying a kart, we would recommend that your first kart is a second hand kart. There are plenty of second hand karts out there. However, be careful, you need to make sure that you buy a kart that you can drive on a KartSport New Zealand affiliated track. Not all second hand karts you see online are compliant for racing.

Members or a kart shop can provide advice on what to purchase.
